Access by Foot
To cross Poseidonos Ave., you can use the pedestrian crossing located between Parthenonos and Terpsichoris Str.
- From the ramp at the junction of Terpsichoris Str. and Poseidonos Ave., follow the tactile paving. It is light yellow, with little contrast against the surrounding pavement. We are on Poseidonos Ave., and the vehicles on our right move in the opposite direction to us. The tactile path bypasses a kiosk and the “MPATIS” bus stop. After this detour, approximately 10 m. ahead on the right, is the traffic light for the pedestrian crossing. From here, we cross Poseidonos Ave. At the time of recording, a countdown timer gave pedestrians 10 seconds to cross both carriageways simultaneously. We cross the first three lanes to reach the pedestrian island, where vehicles wait on our left, and then the remaining three lanes, where vehicles are stopped on our right. Once we have stepped onto the opposite pavement, we continue straight ahead, passing the perpendicular section of tactile paving we encounter. Here, there is an unguarded level crossing over the tram tracks. Caution is required, as trams approach from both directions and have priority. Continue straight ahead, passing any additional tactile paving, until reaching the entrance to the open area.

On our right is the metal fence of the tram line. Soon, both the tactile paving and the metal fence end. We continue straight ahead for a short distance until we find the tactile paving again. Here, we turn right and cross the tram tracks. Caution is required, as this crossing is unguarded and trams approach from both directions with priority. Once we have crossed the two sets of tracks, we continue straight ahead, passing any tactile paving we may encounter, until we reach the entrance to the open area.
We alight from the tram and turn left. We keep the warning tactile tiles on our left, which separate us from the tracks. Soon, we encounter tactile paving with partial colour contrast against the pavement and follow it along the sloped surface. After passing the warning tiles at the end, we turn left and cross the tram tracks. Caution is required, as this crossing is unguarded and trams approach from both directions with priority. Once we have crossed the two sets of tracks, we continue straight ahead, passing any tactile paving we may encounter, until we reach the entrance to the open area.
We alight from the tram and turn right. We keep the warning tactile tiles on our right, which separate us from the tracks. Soon, we encounter tactile paving with partial colour contrast against the pavement and follow it. At the end of the sloped surface, we turn left and continue along the tactile paving. At the junction, where there are options to turn right or left, we continue straight ahead and arrive at the entrance to the open area.
ENTRANCE
The entrance is open. It consists of a sloped surface on the right, which may have a lowered vehicle barrier, with a rough surface, and wide steps on the left, which on their right have small concrete ramps. After four wide steps, we reach the start of the main area.

The space is outdoors and has no seating areas.
Directions from the entrance:
- On the left, there is a bike rental installation.
- Also on the left, following the low wall and keeping it on our left, we can reach the entrance to the area with exercise equipment, after four steps without colour contrast.
- Straight ahead, at the far end, is the end of the area, separated from the sea by a metal railing, where there are concrete benches with a view.
- Straight ahead, before the end of the promenade and to the left, is the stage. Access is via six concrete steps, without colour contrast or handrail.
