ACCESS (Direction Towards Glyfada)
Access by Foot
The nearest ramp for accessing the metro is at the junction of Eleftheriou Venizelou Street & Vouliagmenis Avenue. From there, you will find the tactile paving for the visually impaired, which has moderate colour contrast. At the 1st tactile junction, offering left and right options, turn right to head towards the station. Vouliagmenis Ave. will now be on your right. At the 2nd tactile junction, with options to the right (towards bus stops) and to the left, take the left. This leads to a staircase with five wide steps and a handrail. After the stairs, you will rejoin the tactile paving and follow it. At the final tactile junction, you can either turn left towards the lift or continue straight ahead towards the stairs and the station’s main entrance.
Transportation Access
By Bus
The bus stop “ST. ELLINIKO” is located directly outside the station and is a smart stop. This means there is a button on the pole which, when pressed, announces which buses are nearby and their estimated arrival times. After getting off the bus, continue straight ahead until you find the tactile paving, which has partial colour contrast with the rest of the pavement. Follow the path to the left. Soon, you will come to a tactile junction in the path, with options to the left (following the pavement in the direction of traffic) and straight ahead, where you should go straight. This leads to a staircase with five wide steps and a handrail. After the stairs, you will rejoin the tactile paving and follow it. At the next and last tactile junction, you can either turn left towards the lift or continue straight ahead towards the stairs and the station’s main entrance.
