Access by Foot
From the ramp on Andrea Papandreou Str., which is located in front of the taxi pick-up and drop-off point, we go up onto the pavement, continue straight ahead, and immediately encounter another ramp that takes us down to the roadway. This is a service road where motorcycles are parked. We cross it and go up onto the opposite pavement via the ramp.
Connected to the ramp, there is tactile paving with strong colour contrast against the pavement. We follow it. At the junction with options right, left, and straight ahead, we continue straight ahead.
At the very next junction of the guiding path, with options left and right, we can:
- Go left, where we follow the tactile paving to its end, and once it stops on the marble surface, we turn diagonally right and go up the stairs, keeping the handrail on our right.
- Go straight ahead if we want a level route, where we follow the tactile paving along an uphill ramp with minimal slope and a handrail on the left.
Once we go up either the stairs or the ramp, we turn right and continue straight ahead until we find a wall. This is the shopping centre. We turn left and keep it on our right.
We pass a metal column that functions as an ashtray and now keep on our right a low metal structure that functions as a planter. The planter gives way again to a wall, which we follow. Once the wall turns left, it becomes a shop window, and we follow it for quite some time until it leads us into the recessed entrance.
Transportation Access
By Car
- The shopping centre has 37 accessible parking spaces on level −3 (blue and orange sector).
- The spaces are protected with cones and/or chains. Upon arrival, ask the security staff to free the space that best serves you.
- For free parking, on your first visit go to the Information Desk on Level 2 to register your adapted vehicle (blue badge and vehicle registration). On subsequent visits, at this and all cooperating shopping centres, the barrier will open automatically.
Important: There are 2 lift cores in the shopping centre, but only one serves the accessible parking spaces better. Below there are maps showing the location, on each level, of the lifts that best serve access from the accessible parking spaces.
In summary:
- Level 0 opposite the shop Bag Stories.
- Level 1 opposite the shop Columbia.
- Level 2 opposite the shop Intimissimi.
- Level 3 opposite the shop We Love Hair.
- Level 4 to the right of the IKEA shop.
By Public Transport
After the warning tactile studs we find the tactile paving with slight colour contrast from the floor and follow it to the right. It leads us to the ticket validation machines. We pass through them. The tactile paving ends here. We continue straight ahead for a short distance and go down 4 steps without colour-contrast strips. We turn slightly right and keep the metal wall on our right. We continue straight ahead until the stairs. We go up 12 wooden steps without colour-contrast strips, but with a handrail. We reach the landing and go up another 11 steps. We turn right; the surface changes from wood to metal as we cross the pedestrian bridge over the train tracks. We turn diagonally left, find the metal handrail, keep it on our left and follow it. At some point it turns left and the surface becomes smooth paving; we continue. Once the handrail ends, we turn slightly diagonally right and walk a few metres until we find the low metal edging of a planter. We turn right and keep it on our left. We follow it as it goes. It gives way to a wall, which we follow. The wall becomes a low metal planter again and we follow it. Once the planter ends, we find a metal column that functions as an ashtray. We turn right, keep it behind us and continue straight ahead. When the smooth paving becomes rubber, this indicates that we have found the entrance. The entrance consists of automatic glass doors without a distinctive safety sticker.

We are now on the pedestrian bridge that will lead us to the entrance of the shopping centre, which has metal handrails on both sides. We move diagonally left to find the left handrail and keep it on our left. Once it ends, we turn slightly diagonally right and walk a few metres until we find the low metal edging of a planter. We turn right and keep it on our left. We follow it as it goes. It gives way to a wall, which we follow. The wall becomes a low metal planter again and we follow it. Once the planter ends, we find a metal column that functions as an ashtray. We turn right, keep it behind us and continue straight ahead. When the smooth paving becomes rubber, this indicates that we have found the entrance. The entrance consists of automatic glass doors without a distinctive safety sticker.
From here the route is more demanding, as the station is large, with many stairs, escalators, and three lifts, even though it has tactile paving without colour contrast from the floor. The safest option is to ask for assistance up to the station exit on Neratziotissis Str., on the side heading towards OAKA.
From this exit, on the pavement, we turn right and keep the outer edge of the pavement on our left. The vehicles on the left are moving in the same direction as us. After passing the kiosk on our right and the waste bins on our left, we reach a concrete ramp. Here we turn right, towards the interior of the pavement, and after a few steps we find tactile paving with colour contrast from the floor. It soon leads us to a lift. The buttons do not have Braille, and there is no voice announcement of floors. We are on Level 0, which is the protruding button, and we select Level 1, which is above. The lift takes us to the pedestrian bridge that passes over the electric railway tracks. We turn left, find the handrail, and follow it. The floor surface changes from wood to metal, then back to wood and then to smooth paving. This is the second pedestrian bridge. We continue and keep the left metal handrail.
Once it ends, we turn slightly diagonally right and walk a few meters until we find the low metal edging of a planter. We turn right and keep it on our left. We follow it as it goes. It gives way to a wall, which we follow. The wall becomes a low metal planter again, and we follow it. Once the planter ends, we find a metal column that functions as an ashtray. We turn right, keep it behind us, and continue straight ahead. When the smooth paving becomes rubber, this indicates that we have found the entrance. The entrance consists of automatic glass doors without a distinctive safety sticker.
ENTRANCE
The main entrance of the shopping centre is located on Level 2 and is level, with automatic sliding doors. They do not have visual contrast safety stickers for people with low vision, so caution is required.
After the automatic doors there is a small mat, which gives way to a marble floor. Moving slightly diagonally left, where along the way we will find a staircase railing on our left which we can follow, we will reach the Information Desk in approximately 25 steps, which has a smooth, concave surface.
There, trained staff can provide support.
WC
There are accessible toilets next to the standard toilets on all levels. In addition to accessible equipment, they also have an emergency call system with a cord running around the space in white or red colour approximately 20 cm from the floor.

INTERIOR
The main space of the shopping centre is level and spacious. There are:
- an Information Desk on Level 2, near the entrance,
- wide corridors with some diagonal columns that constitute tall obstacles,
- a food court with tables and high counters on Level 3,
- two lounge areas in outdoor spaces on Level 3 via automatic glass doors without protective marking for people with low vision and with tall obstacles such as counters, tree branches and diagonal columns,
- scattered seating on Levels 0, 1, 2 and 3.
LIFTS
There are 2 lift cores in the shopping centre, each core has 2 lifts. The lifts have Braille on the buttons, voice announcement of floors and direction, as well as warning tactile studs in the door recesses.
Between floors there are:
- escalators on every level,
- stairs in 4 locations (towards IKEA, next to the supermarket, emergency exit to the outdoor area, and emergency exit to the parking areas), which do not always have colour-contrast anti-slip strips on every step.
