Transportation Access

By Car

  • The shopping centre provides 37 accessible parking bays on level −3 (blue and orange zones).
  • The bays are protected with cones and/or chains. Upon arrival, ask security staff to clear the bay that best suits you.
  • Internal accessible bays measure 4.3 × 3 m. Accessible vans may park in the service parking area (next to the visitor parking entrance on Andrea Papandreou Str.). From there, access to the main area is via a level route with assistance.
  • For free parking, on your first visit go to the Information Desk on Level 2 to register your accessible vehicle (blue badge and vehicle registration). On subsequent visits, at this and all cooperating shopping centres, the barrier will open automatically.
  • Parking payment machine features:
    • Coin Slot: 140 cm.
    • Contactless Card Reader: 135 cm.
    • Assistance Button: 130 cm.
    • Cash Slot: 120 cm.
    • Ticket Slot: 120 cm.

Important: There are two lift cores in the shopping centre, but only one provides better access to the accessible parking bays. Below you will find maps showing, on each level, the lifts that best serve accessible parking.

By Public Transport

From the ISAP Line M1 and Suburban Railway station “Neratziotissa” there is full level access to the shopping centre via:

  • Suburban Railway / ISAP M1 lifts with:
    • automatic door width 80 cm.,
    • cabin dimensions 200 × 100 cm.,
    • internal buttons at 100–110 cm. height,
    • perimeter handrail at 90 cm. height.
  • Wooden staircase with handrails on both sides, without anti-slip strips on each step.

Access instructions via lifts:

  • From the platform towards Kifisia (ISAP M1 Neratziotissa):

To reach the shopping centre, find the ticket validation machines that are located in the middle of the platform. Pass them and turn right, keeping Nerantziotissis Str. on your left. Pass a kiosk and then, on your right, you will find the lift leading to the shopping centre pedestrian bridge and The Mall Athens.

  • From the platform towards Piraeus (ISAP M1 Neratziotissa):
  1. To reach the shopping centre, find the ticket validation machines that are located in the middle of the platform. Pass them and turn on your right you will see the lift leading to the underground pedestrian bridge and the Suburban Railway. Select Level 1. Once on the pedestrian bridge, exit the lift and turn back, where you will find another lift marked “towards Kifisia”. Take this lift to Level 2. Upon exiting, turn right with Nerantziotissis Str. on your left, pass a kiosk and then, on your right, you will find the lift leading to the shopping centre pedestrian bridge and The Mall Athens.

Lift leading to the Shopping Centre Pedestrian Bridge

  • From the Suburban Railway station:

After exiting the train, take the lift of the photo towards the Attiki Odos signs to Level 2. Then turn right, keeping Neratziotissis Str. on your left. Pass the kiosk and, on your right, you will see the lift leading to the shopping centre pedestrian bridge and The Mall Athens.

Alternative Route: If the lift next to Nerantziotissis Str. leading to the pedestrian bridge is out of service, from the ISAP M1 platform towards Piraeus you must locate the external red lift (entrance width 80 cm., handrail at 90 cm. height, internal buttons at 100–110 cm. height, internal dimensions 200 × 100 cm.) leading next to Andrea Papandreou Str. Continue parallel to Andrea Papandreou Str. towards the shopping centre and, upon reaching the taxi parking area, turn left. Follow the large external ramp of the shopping centre to the level where the main entrance of The Mall Athens is located.

ENTRANCE

The main entrance of the shopping centre is located on Level 2 and is level, with automatic sliding doors.

Access is provided:

  • From Neratziotissis Str., via:
    • A spacious lift with:
      • automatic door width 80 cm.,
      • cabin dimensions 160 × 140 cm.,
      • internal buttons at 100 cm. height,
      • handrails on both sides at 90 cm. height.
    • A level pedestrian bridge with a short central metal ramp of variable cross-slope.
    • A gently sloped ramp near the shopping centre, with handrails on both sides.

  • From Andrea Papandreou Street, via:
    • Escalator,
    • Staircase with handrails, and
    • A gently sloped but long ramp with dual-height handrails on both sides.

All toilets, except in Level 3C inside Village Cinemas, have relatively heavy doors, 90 cm. wide, with automatic closing mechanisms and easy-to-use handles and locks.

Recommendation: If a WC seat is essential, the Level 0 toilet is the most suitable option.
If not essential, the most accessible option is the Level 3A toilet (next to Starbucks).

INTERIOR

The main interior of the shopping centre is level and spacious. It includes:

  • Information Desk on Level 2,
  • manual wheelchairs and an electric scooter available via the Information Desk on Level 2,
  • wide corridors,
  • two food courts (Level 3) with tables at 70 cm. height and counters at 100 cm. height with seating,
  • an outdoor lounge area (Level 3) accessible via a very gently sloped ramp and automatic door, with tables at 70 cm. height and counters at 110 cm. with seating,
  • an outdoor dining area (Level 3) with level access via automatic doors, and
  • scattered seating on Levels 0, 1, 2 and 3.

LIFTS

There are two lift cores in the shopping centre, each containing two lifts.

Lift features:

  • Automatic doors, 80 cm. wide,
  • cabin dimensions 160 × 150 cm.,
  • external call buttons at 100–130 cm. height,
  • internal floor buttons at 100–130 cm. height,
  • perimeter handrails at 90 cm. height.

Between floors there are:

  • Escalators on each level,
  • staircases in four locations (towards IKEA, next to the supermarket, evacuation to the outdoor area, and evacuation to the parking areas).
