  • The Swimming Pool is located on the service road of Poseidonos Ave., on the marina side.
  • The vehicle entrance also serves as the pedestrian entrance.
  • The opposite pavement of the marina is step-free with ramps.

  • The entrance to the car park is from the service road of Poseidonos Ave.
  • There are disabled spaces marked in blue on the ground, next to the ramp.

By Tram

The “PIKRODAFNI” tram stop is accessible but does not have direct step-free access to the Swimming Pool. They are connected by a downhill corridor 100 cm. wide, which has a 15 cm. step at the start together with a medium-gradient ramp with double-height handrail on the right, and a 10 cm. step at the end, on the pavement next to the Swimming Pool.

ENTRANCE

  • There is a ramp in the car park and an inclined plane, without handrail, leading to the entrance.
  • The door is glass and manual.

There are 2 accessible toilets: the women’s is to the left of the main entrance; the men’s is to the right. They include:

  • Door Opening: 80 cm.
  • Toilet Bowl: Adapted, with foldable side bar on the left
  • Sink: Accessible, with clearance underneath

FACILITY

Interior:

  • The service desk is 110 cm. high.
  • There is no step-free internal access to the pool, only external.
  • Accessible changing rooms with direct pool access are outside.

Exterior:

The pool and accessible changing rooms are accessed externally, around the perimeter of the building.
     Directions:

  1. We go up the yellow pavement ramp and take the path to the right of the building, next to the recycling bins.
  2. At the end of the path we turn left into the corridor between the pool and the refreshment kiosk.
  3. At the end of the corridor there is a manual transparent door, 90 cm. wide.
  4. We push it open and enter the pool area.

Info:

  • The accessible changing rooms are the children’s ones, located behind the children’s pool.
  • There is no pool hoist or accessible pool lift.
  • The stands are only accessible via stairs with many steps, no handrail. They are covered.
